Terms and conditions

Last updated

These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Connectify for your use of the website and the service. Please read them. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.

1. Acceptance of these terms

Connectify, its website, app and related services (the "Service") are owned and operated by AppsCorridor ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm that you can bind that company to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Connectify lets you build and run workflows: a trigger in one app followed by steps in other apps, with logic steps and AI features. We may add, change or remove features as the Service develops. We will give reasonable notice before removing a feature that materially reduces what a paid plan offers.

3. Accounts

Give accurate details when you sign up. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your password private. Tell us at once if you believe your account has been used without permission. One person may not share an account with another; an organisation may invite several people, each with their own sign-in where the Service supports it.

4. Plans, billing, renewals and cancellations

The Service has a free Basic plan and paid plans whose prices and limits are shown on the website. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Shopify stores are billed through Shopify; everyone else pays by card through our payment processor, which handles card details on its own pages.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which the account moves to the free plan and your workflows stay in place within that plan’s limits. Payments already made are not refunded for the remainder of a period unless the law where you live requires it. If we change a price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Taxes are added where they apply. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until it is settled.

5. Task limits and fair use

A task is counted each time a workflow runs. Each plan includes a number of tasks per billing period and a number of workflows that can be switched on at once. When you reach a limit, workflows may pause until the next period or until you upgrade. The Service is shared infrastructure: we may slow down or pause workflows that place an unreasonable load on it, and we will tell you if we do.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • send unsolicited messages or run campaigns that the receiving platform forbids;
  • collect or process personal data without a lawful basis;
  • upload malicious code, probe or disrupt the Service, or try to access other customers’ data;
  • resell the Service without our written agreement;
  • breach the terms of any app you connect.

We may suspend or remove workflows or accounts that breach this section.

7. Connected third-party apps

When you connect an app, you authorise Connectify to act in that app on your behalf within the permissions you grant. Each app has its own terms, which you must follow. We are not responsible for changes an app provider makes to its service, for its availability, or for what it does with the data your workflows send to it. We keep the credentials you give us encrypted and use them only to run your workflows; you can disconnect an app at any time.

8. AI features

The AI Copilot and the AI helpers generate suggestions from the text you give them. They can be wrong. You are responsible for checking a workflow before you switch it on and for the results of workflows that include AI steps. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of Copilot messages; you may also connect your own AI provider key, in which case that provider’s terms and charges apply to those requests.

9. Your content and data

You keep all rights to the data that flows through your workflows and to the workflows you build. You give us the permission we need to store and process that data to provide the Service, and nothing more. Run history is kept for the period your plan states and then deleted automatically, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to process the personal data your workflows handle.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service, its software, templates, design and name belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or build a competing product from the Service. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running and release updates without downtime, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free and we make no uptime commitment. Workflows depend on third-party apps, which can fail or rate-limit requests; the Service waits and retries where it can. We may need to suspend the Service for maintenance or security reasons.

12. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, has unpaid charges, or puts the Service or other customers at risk; where practical we will warn you first. When an account closes, workflows stop and your data is deleted in line with the privacy policy. Sections 9, 10 and 13 to 17 survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that workflows will produce any particular result or that AI output will be accurate.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.

15. Indemnity

You will defend and compensate us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or of the law, or from the data you process through it.

16. Governing law and disputes

If a dispute arises, you and we agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting our support team, and to allow thirty (30) days for a resolution before starting any formal proceedings.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company that owns and operates Connectify is registered, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. The competent courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising out of these terms or the Service, and you submit to their jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under mandatory provisions of the law of your place of residence that cannot be waived by agreement.

17. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows the latest revision. For material changes we will tell you by email or a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the revised terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force, and these terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
