Google Sheets integration

Connect Google Sheets to 200+ apps

The Google Sheets integration on Connectify turns a spreadsheet into a log, a queue or a control panel. Orders, payments and leads become rows as they happen; a new or changed row can start a workflow of its own; and the Loop step works through every row to create records elsewhere.

What you can do

3 triggers and 15 actions, straight from the app

Each item is a real step in the Connectify builder. Fields are filled by typing @ to insert data from the trigger or an earlier step.

Triggers
  • Row addedConnectify checks the sheet on your interval and starts the workflow for each new row. The first check records the rows already there so old data does not flood in.
  • Row updatedStarts the workflow when an existing row changes. New rows do not fire this one.
  • Row added or updatedStarts for both, with a change type on each record so a Filter can branch.
Actions

  • Update rowFinds the first row where a column matches a value and overwrites it.

FAQ

Google Sheets questions

How often is the sheet checked?

At the interval you set on the trigger. Each check remembers what it has seen, so a row is never run twice.

Does the first check run for every existing row?

No. The first check records the rows already in the sheet; only rows added after that start the workflow.

What if my sheet has no header row?

Rows are matched to the header in row 1, so give each column a name there. Values are then available by that name when you type @.

Can I use my own Google app?

Yes. When you connect, choose to enter your own Google app credentials instead of "Continue with Connectify".
